My attorney just asked me to set up a virtual appearance for an upcoming hearing, and honestly, I'm drawing a blank. This is my first time dealing with anything like this, and I'm also not exactly a tech whiz, so the idea of handling all the virtual logistics is making me sweat a little. I'm trying to wrap my head around how different or similar this is going to be from a standard in-person hearing. What should I be looking out for? Are there specific court rules I need to dig into? Any must-do prep steps for the attorney or for me to ensure everything goes smoothly on the tech side? How do I prepare the exhibits? I'm sorry for asking so many questions but if anyone has tips and tricks for me, please send them my way! That'd be incredibly helpful!
